Creating your star map
Atlas lets you create a personal star chart and poster from a place, date, time and design settings. Use text and other material that you have permission to use. Check your spelling, chosen moment, location and timezone before saving or printing.
Location suggestions can represent the centre of a city or another approximate point. A timezone estimated from coordinates may need correction near a timezone border. The sky chart is intended as a creative keepsake; it is not a navigation tool. Printed colours and dimensions depend on your export and printer settings.
Accounts and access
Keep your sign-in credentials private. Your email is used as a sign-in identifier and is not verified. Saved maps and available credits are associated with your account. Do not bypass access controls or rate limits, automate abusive requests, or attempt to access another person’s maps.
Google location search
Some location suggestions and selected addresses are provided by Google Maps Platform. Your use of that content is subject to the then-current Google Maps Additional Terms of Service, including the Google Terms of Service referenced there, and the Google Privacy Policy, which are incorporated into these terms. The service also operates under the applicable Google Maps Platform terms and service-specific terms.
Keep attribution attached to Google location content. Do not extract the suggestions to build a shared directory or use them to bypass Google’s service restrictions. Google search may be unavailable when disabled, when a provider fails or when the trial limit is reached. Local city search and manual coordinate entry remain available.
Other data and privacy
The local city catalogue uses GeoNames data under CC BY 4.0. Any optional Open-Meteo search is subject to its terms. Details about browser drafts, accounts, hosting and data sent to search providers are in our Privacy Policy.
